Do you know how cannabis is grown? It's different all over the world... outdoors, indoors, in dirt, in water, clones, seeds, genetics, pesticides, powdery mildew and more. It's important to be educated and know what you are putting in your body and empower yourself with the knowledge to ask the right questions when you enter a dispensary or call for delivery.

How will cannabis be grown in Florida? Not like in California... or Washington, or Colorado. Not all cannabis is created equal. Learn how today's cultivators are maximizing yields, how they are utilizing the latest technology to grow better cannabis, and the popular undercurrent of boutique "craft-grows" that specialize in traditional organic cultivation.

Florida Cannabis Coalition is pleased to have partnered with professional educators to present Cultivation 101 as part of our Cannabis Learning Series. This full FOUR (4) HOUR WORKSHOP is for anyone that really wants to understand how cannabis is cultivated and harvested. It is taught by University of Florida Physicist and Plant Scientist Aaron Landerville. And if you are looking to cultivate cannabis, this is a MUST ATTEND workshop. The workshop takes place in Tampa's Ybor City on Wednesday, May 17th @ 4:00 PM.

Cannabis is not like every other plant. Growing it is not like growing flowers (although orchids are close). Knowing what we put in our bodies is our right. But it can only really be achieved through educating ourselves.

We hope you can join us for this detailed look at how cannabis is grown and what to look for in quality medicine. Here is what you will learn:

  • General Cannabis Cultivation
  • Cannabis Botany & Horticulture
  • Growing Systems & Techniques
  • Nutrients & Pesticides
